They say librarians are old-fashioned. I’m anything but.
As a 23-year-old woman I have my whole life ahead of me, and I’m in no rush to settle down.
But my favorite patron of the Golden Creek Library has a different opinion … and at 72, Charles McArthur is hard to argue with.
He wants to set me up with his grandson and I don’t have the heart to say no.

When my date comes to my door, I am oh-so-glad I said yes.
Chuck McArthur is a tall, dark, and handsome man who happens to love books as much as I do. He calls me Cookie, just like his gramps, and I’m more than eager for him to have a taste. Luckily for me, he likes a woman with some curves, and lucky for him, his dirty talk is quickly becoming my favorite sound.
Best part? Chuck and I want the exact same thing: a no strings attached relationship

But when tragedy strikes, everything changes.
I may like it when he talks wordy to me … but maybe I need more than talk. Maybe I need forever.

Fun & Puns ~

What a fun book to read! I was laughing at all the puns and their timing. I enjoyed the first meeting, the lust at first sight, and all their preconceived misconceptions tossed right out of the proverbial window. Loved the ending! It was their perfect version of a Happily Ever After!

Good read

Cookie and Chuck go on a blind date because chuck’s grandpa Charles thought they’d make a wonderful couple . Maybe gramps knows best.

A gotta read romance

Cute, saucy and all the right stuff for a romance. This librarian thought she wasn’t ready for more than fun. That’s until she gets setup on a date. Off the charts chemistry and compatibility. Steamy sweet HEA.

Don't judge a book by its cover

Talk Wordy To Me is the first book in the His Curvy Librarian series and is a deliciously wonderful start. This story is about Cassidy and Chuck McArthur.
Cassidy is twenty-three years old and for the last three months has been the community outreach librarian at the Golden Creek Library. She loves her new job, the first since she graduated. Part of her job is to run the senior's book club and she does this with a twist, she bakes a treat that goes with the book they are reading. One of the senior's, Charles, has taken a shine to Cassidy and keeps trying to set her up with his grandson, Chuck.
Chuck is twenty-eight years old and owns and runs a successful real estate brokerage company in Golden Creek. He has worked hard to start and build the company which has meant he has a one date rule so he can focus on the business. He was raised by his grandfather, Charles, after his parents were killed in an accident when he was a teenager. For the last few months Charles has been trying to set up Chuck with the new librarian but Chuck is not interested in what he envisions is a dowdy and dull woman with a bun in her hair.
When Charles finally wears down both Cassidy and Chuck and they agree to a date they are both in for a very big surprise......and a lot of hot nerdy book talk. As the saying says...."Don't judge a book by its cover", and for these two they are definitely in for an eye opening date. Before you know it they are having a no strings fling that just keeps on going like the Energizer Bunny, they just can't get enough of each other. But will their fling end or will it continue for the rest of their lives and develop into a deep love?

I really loved this book. The story is well written and has a great plot. The characters are well defined and there is a lot of humor, emotion, love and super hot sexiness. This was a wonderful start to this series and I am so looking forward to reading the next book. A definite RECOMMEND READ!!!

She meets The One on a blind date

A steamy short read thats filled with book quotes because yes the main female character is a curvy librarian and an unwanted blind date that turns into her meeting The One.
I really enjoyed this steamy read ...loved how both characters gave their date a chance even though they both did not want to go in the beginning...which turned out really really well..
An entertaining and refreshing read.
