Even though it was a traumatic experience for the woman the book is beautifully written. I truly felt like I was her in the story. I couldn't put the book down. She is incredibly brave. I am so sorry this happened to you, Anna.

I honestly couldn't stop reading. I could personally relate to so much of this book it's sad. It's week written and shows the a victims story very well. To anyone that has gone through something like this. It wasn't you it was him. It doesn't matter what you wore no means no if you were a child and he was an adult he was in the wrong not you!
The moment i started to read this book it was hard to put it down. Its amazing how strong she is by telling her story and bringing it out to the light. This book is worth your time. Its short to read in a day.
I saw Anna on TikTok talking about her experience. I wanted to know more about how she survived her trauma, with enough strength to share her story. I’m so glad I took advantage of this opportunity to follow her through this ordeal. Anna has amazing courage, to fight through to the brighter side, when it would have been so easy to give up.
as a healing trauma survivor myself this book feels like someone is reaching out and understanding of what i went through. i truly appluad the author for having the bravery to put her incredible story on paper and i am so glad she did. give it a read for yourself.
Loved it couldn’t stop reading. Finished the book in about 3 hours. I would recommend to anyone going through anything similar, wanting healing of rape to see there can be a bright side. Author did an amazing job putting this together!
I couldn't put the book down. I related on so many levels as I was raped and got pregnant. I too kept my baby. No one seemed to hear my cries for help and I stayed with him because he threatened me over and over again. I stayed with him for several months after and then one day I got up and realized I couldn't keep going through motions because of threats, I left him and went and got a restraining order and he stalked me staying just far enough so nothing could be done The cops said they had to catch him in the act. He finally disappeared and I found out he went to Virginia. He got married and raped his step daughter which put his a** behind bars for a very long time.
I read this book in one sitting, I couldn’t put it down. Your heart is just so sad for this poor woman and what she went through. But also amazed by her strength. It’s a great afternoon read.
