This book had great plot twists, a truly sexy hero and a superb and intelligent heroine. The other characters livened the story considerably! Looking forward to the next book in Ms. Kumar’s series.

An epic human elf romance
I loved this story. Relian is an Elvin Prince who shares dreams with the human Cal. They are both from different worlds but through the manipulation of fate, they are brought together. The book culminated with their bonding after a very long, very slow burn but intense courting. There are other elements in the book besides a love story but this seemed to be the main plot. While it doesn't have a cliffhanger, I will definitely be reading the second book in the series to find out what happens to Cal's friend, Maggie, and the king. And hopefully to find out a little more about the war against the darkindred.

her friend Angie made me laugh sooo hard
Cal is taken to another world or dimention in the clouds! And people thought she is crasy. But nobody else can see it. Anyway, once there she has to come to terms with a whole new reality, a lot to take in. Thank goodness her friend Angie is with her. Angie has no filter, mostly, which does not really bode well with Elfes, who live like forever. In the end Cal pulls through greatly.

I read this book really quickly! I finished reading it in only a few days, I couldn’t put it down! The characters were engaging. The book was a fun read and not too heavy of a storyline. After reading this I can’t wait to dive into the second book in the series. I highly recommend this book if you enjoy fantasy/romance books!
Fantastic Read.
This is a beautifully written, and at times a heart stopping novel. I read it in a couple of nights, finding it very hard to put down. The story is well fleshed, and flows at a good lively pace keeping the attention of the reader throughout the entire novel. The storyline is well thought out, giving information on Elven life and what makes them different from humans in some ways and rather similar in others. It's a good catchy story with nail biting edge of your seat scenes that will keep you enthralled to the very last page. I found the idea of being bound to an Elven Prince a fresh idea, and although I'm an Epic Fantasy fan, I found this book to be refreshing and thoroughly enjoyable. I gave it the 5 stars that it so richly deserved and would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a riveting good real. You certainly won't be disappointed. EK
