Back then, I had it all.

Wicked fastball. Killer instinct. Cocky grin. Full package.

(And believe me, I knew how to score.)

My senior year, I was a first round draft pick with a two-million-dollar signing bonus. Before I could even legally buy myself a beer, I made my Major League debut.

Point is, I was invincible.

Until one day I wasn’t.

After tanking my career—during the World Series, no less—the last thing I want to do is return to my hometown, where every jerk in a ball cap has an opinion about what went wrong with my arm. So when my sister drags me back to town for her wedding, I vow to get in and out of there as quickly as possible.

Then I run into April Sawyer.

In high school we were just friends, but I’d always wanted her, and I’d never forgotten her—the red hair, the incredible smile, the crazy, reckless thing we did in the back of my truck the night we said goodbye. It’s been eighteen years, but one look at her and I feel like my old self again. I can still make her laugh, she can still take me down a notch, and when the chemistry between us explodes, it’s even hotter this time around—and I don’t want it to end.

But just when I think I’m ready to let go of the past and get back in the game, life throws me a curveball I never saw coming.

Great story, Great series!

I'm always trying to be positive about the stories tjat I read and enjoy, and this was no exception! April had a secret that she shared with Tyler as the other person responsible for that secret. She and he had started a new life, one that she knew she could not raise successfully on her own. You have to read this story to learn why I liked it so much!

FAVORITE SERIES OF ALL

April has the biggest secret and it has been crushing her throughout her life due to her decision, but she has a loving family that supports her and facing her problems after 18 years. Tyler is her first love and April was his. April was the only person that understands Tyler and did a lot when they were younger. I cannot stop rereading their time together and scene. They both have secrets but April deal through the storm by herself. Tyler is coming back into her life because he cannot imagine life w/o her but also he felt at home wherever he goes with her. 10/10

Perfect

I loved this story so much. It has became my favorite out of the series. I love how they reconnected after all those years and how their son was introduced and how everything worked out in the end. I loved getting to read the bonus epilogue too. I hope in the future we get and update on all the sisters.

Sad to Leave

The perfect ending to this wonderful series. I think this one might be my favorite. There is SO MUCH love and emotion in the story of April and Tyler. I hate to leave Cloverleigh Farms but it’s getting a little full now! As always, Ms. Harlow did an amazing job of making the reader care about all of the characters in this series with such realistic situations and the bonds of family and forgiveness. A joyous experience!
