I love it. The remake and different views are so good. I can't wait to read the rest of the series!
Family is everything, and I’ll do whatever it takes to support what’s left of mine. I’ll work double waitressing shifts seven days a week. I’ll even become the headliner at the local strip club. But I draw the line at accepting a drug lord’s indecent proposal. I’m not for sale.
Unfortunately, the monster isn’t used to taking no for an answer, and his ability to manipulate minds makes him a formidable enemy. Luckily, I’ve got my sexy roommate and a dangerous shifter watching out for me. They’ll protect me from everything… except their dark desires.
If I can survive these beasts, the apocalypse will be a cakewalk.
*This is book one in a paranormal/dystopian series based on the rewritten and expanded Heaven in Hell series. Expect a kickass heroine and swoon-worthy beasts who’ll have to learn to share. FYI: This steamy and thrilling ride is not for the faint of heart and some content may be triggering to sensitive readers.
Don't miss the complete Claiming Her Mates series set in the same post-apocalyptic world!
What else do you need for a full out apocalypse? Can’t wait to see where this story goes. Interesting and fast paced.
So much has happened in this book... I feel like I need to recuperate from an amazing rollercoaster ride.
This book has gangsters, shifters, military experiments, virusses, a zombie apocalyps, ... and still it somehow all fit together!
I honestly fell in love with Reed, but Hunter will have to grow on me. There is a lot of mistery around the guy, so I’m hoping to find out more about him in the second book.
This story grabbed my attention fully, and while it doesn’t end in an annoying cliffhanger, I’m still happy to be able to continue with the second book.
If you’re a fan of apocalyptic stories, or slow building harems with enough hot moments to keep you going, you should absolutely read this.
Great storyline, detailed, and Lee is a kick as character. A recommended page turner!
this was a good book. no spoilers, but the author adds romance to a zombie apocalypse. i am looking forward to reading g the rest of the series
This book was brought to my attention and thrown at me by the author. She saw my love for zombies mentioned, and thought I might like it. Dia was in fact correct. I did really enjoy this novel. It wasn't a frightening zombie read (for me), however there was romance, action, blood & guts, and bad guys.
I feel bad for Reed & Lee because Hunter kind of took consent from both parties even though they would have eventually arrived there on their own. It was still shady. Hunter does get some sympathy for his situation, but what he did (on more than one occasion) still wasn't acceptable. You'll have to read the novel to understand what scenes I'm referencing.
I believe in book 2 he will redeem himself, but revealing himself along with his honesty will have to come first. I'm also intrigued to see who will be in Lee's harem. No, I did not read the blurb. I'm a rebel like that. I'll be continuing the series to find out!
This book is so awesome!! I def recommend this to anyone who loves post-apocalyptic romances and or zombies. I love how Lee is a mix of strong/confident but also innocent and sweet. I feel like this is just the start of an amazing story! I can’t wait to see more of Lee’s relationship with her sister and with the guys. I need more Dom! And I’m so curious to know more about what Hunter is and where he’s from. I’m so ready to start book 2!
The canine flu has been widespread and panic is hitting everywhere. Jobs are scarce but Lee has two jobs: one as a waitress and the other an exotic dancer. There is one individual who has come in on a mission who has taken a shine to her...and there is a cartel boss who wants her as well as her brother-ish friend. Three men, apocalypse is coming and life will become extremely difficult and deadly. Heaven and her friends and family are in the epicenter and total chaos is going to rule.
Fantastic story that will have you on the edge of your seat.
