I have read all of the books so far in the series and have enjoyed them all. This one, I had a bit of a time getting into at first but that could have just been due to the fact that I've been super busy and could only read a little at a time. But boy, once it got rolling, Wow!
Treasure Templari: Templars, Nazis and the Holy Grail
by David S Brody
Historians Cameron Thorne and Amanda Spencer-Gunn uncover a stolen painting which the Nazis believed was a secret map to the Holy Grail and the lost treasure of the Knights Templar. Hitler planned to weaponize the Holy Grail and monetize the treasure as part of his campaign of world dominance. Cam and Amanda just want to find the legendary artifacts. The Nazis failed because they were unable to decipher the secret Templar clues left in the painting. Cam and Amanda may fail—perhaps fatally—because a group of modern-day Nazis remain obsessed with finishing Hitler’s work.
A thriller based on actual artwork, artifacts and events. Illustrated. Not recommended for readers with strong religious beliefs.
Publishers Weekly says of the author, "BRODY DOES A TERRIFIC JOB OF WRAPPING HIS RESEARCH IN A FAST-PACED THRILL RIDE."
This stand-alone novel merges together two series. It is Book #9 in the TEMPLARS IN AMERICA series and also Book #4 in the BOSTON LAW series.
Reviews
Where once I was enamored, now it has become obsessive. I have read nothing but David Brody's books since I discovered the first one. I I am an Avid Reader tend to read all kinds of books. I feel as if I must need to know the outcome of the story. Cam, Amanda, and Astarte are once again pulled into the mystery of the Templars, with lots of exciting twists and turns. Nope, you need to read. I won't be posting any spoilers. Otherwise why read at all. I am off to grab the next book in series. Thank you David.
I enjoy every novel and stay up way too late reading them. I am looking forward to another adventure. Yay
This entire series has been fun to read. Action packed and interesting facts about the Templers. Highly recommend this series.
This book was another intriguing adventure in which I learned a lot of history about things I thought I already knew. The game was on then. I kept reading and kept being surprised by more new facts. Very interesting read.
I love this series. I choose to read to avoid politics. Disheartened with this book and the previous to an extent. Author should keep their personal politics out of it. I was going to give it a chance and keep reading anyway until I got to the Antifa and skin heads wearing MAGA hats. Give me a break! Antifa and skinheads are polar opposite.
Enough out standing work of exciting fiction by a great wordsmith.
Treasure is not always God or any valuable material item, this book has a excellent description of another form of treasure....
I'm always up for a new book about the Templars, but this was my first novel about them. Although a novel, it was clearly based on some historical information. Some of it seemed a bit improbable with what the characters experienced, but then I don't know how the underbelly of the art industry works either. Over all it was an enjoyable book.
