To Follow My Heart

Bestselling author, Sherry Ewing, brings you the next installment of her Knights of Berwyck series, To Follow My Heart. Love is a leap. Sometimes you need to jump…

After a gut wrenching break up with her fiancé, Jenna Sinclair heads to the coast to do a little soul searching. To say everything is subject to change is putting it mildly. Her world is not only turned upside down, but pretty much torn asunder when she is pulled through a time gate on the beach beneath the Cliff House and transported more than eight hundred years into the past.

Fletcher Monroe, captain of the garrison knights at Berwyck Castle, has wasted too much time pining for a woman who will never be his. When he finally decides to move on with his life and focus on his duties, he is suddenly confronted with a woman who magically appears at his feet. This could either be the best thing that has ever happened to him or another cursed event in a string of many. He soon finds he is wildly attracted to her, but she’s scared to death of him ─ not a very encouraging beginning.

From the shores of California to twelfth century England and back again, Jenna and Fletcher must find a way to reconcile their two different worlds before Time forever tears them apart.

Good time travel

Nothing like a good medieval time travel and this one is cute and fun. I liked it better back in the 1100's than in the 21 century. Liked both lead characters Jenna and Fletcher. Secondary characters were good also and enhanced the story. There's no place like home for both of them together in the middle ages. This is more a 4.5 but I try to round up to be fair. Good writing and no editing issues.

Knights and Ladies

Happy to land again in the 12th century and revisit with all my friends at Berwick. Although a stand-alone book, for those of us clever enough to start at the beginning, we get caught up on the lives (and non-lives) of our well-loved characters, we find out some more of the intrigue of our friend Lady Ella and delve more in-depth into the Captain of the Guard, Fletcher’s life and who can enrich it. A most worthy addition to the star-crossed group of time traveller books, this one with an intriguing about-face. If you love medieval tales of knights and ladies, you’ll love this one. Well done Sherry! Can’t wait for the next one.

The Time Gate

If you could follow love through time, would you? Could you wish yourself to a different time and place? Jenna did, and she was hurled, all the way from a beach in San Francisco to England, and 800 years in the past. When Jenna walked on the beach in San Francisco to escape the sorrows of a nasty breakup with her boyfriend, she had no idea that she would have a date with destiny. There was a portal that whisked her away to a different time and place. There, she met a man unlike any other. Could she overcome her fear and fall in love?

Fletcher loved a woman out of his reach. When fate sends him a woman, 800 years from the future, would he open his heart? Could he fall in love again? If you enjoy time travel romances, you will appreciate this story. It will take you from the future to the past, and it might even bring you back.

Back and forth in time

After a bad breakup with her boyfriend, Jenna wishes for a time of castles and a knight to love her. Fletcher is also suffering from heartbreak, loving a women who is the wife of another knight. When fate steps in as knight who is a ghost, Jenna finds herself in the twelfth century and in the arms of a knight named Fletcher. Love is never easy and grief sends Jenna back to her home, but this time she's not alone. A very romantic tale of love overcoming time.

Didn’t work for me....

It started out with great interest, but half way throughout it start to get silly especially with the continuous reference to each other ‘sis’. I really wanted to finish, but just couldn’t. What makes it really hard is that I love her previous books☹️.
