Seeking the Sheriff
by Calle J. Brookes
★ ★ ★ ★ ★ SHE DOESN'T NEED HIS KIND OF TROUBLE... ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
The last thing Phoebe Tyler needs is the sheriff complicating her life. The sheriff of Masterson County had always meant trouble—especially for the Tylers of Tyler Township.
She has to focus on helping her widowed father run their struggling ranch and raise her younger brothers. When the sheriff shows up with her teenage brother, Phoebe knows more problems are right behind him.
★ HE HAS A JOB TO DO NOW. ★
Sheriff Joel Masterson has an entire county depending on him to keep them safe.
He doesn’t need more trouble with the rabble-rousing Tylers. But once he gets a good look at the eldest Tyler daughter, things get complicated. Real complicated—real quick.
Now Joel doesn’t mind trouble—at least…not Phoebe’s kind. But real trouble has a way of finding all the Tylers sooner or later. Phoebe is no exception.
But this time the sheriff might not be enough to keep Phoebe safe, after all…
Reviews
I took a chance with a new author for me. I'm glad I did. If there is a Tyler in the vicinity a Masterson (or should I say a Masterson brother) won't be too far behind. I definitely recommend this book to everyone, I know you'll get caught up in the story like I did.
Very enjoyable. I don't usually read cowboy or western themed Romance but this one really pulled me in. Excellent writing.
It's a nice short read with likeable characters and an interesting plot. It's told from multiple POVs.
Good book, the characters in it don't spend half the book trying to find a reason not to love each other.
We have a very well written action packed story! It has action, intrigue, danger, love, and family backing and protecting each other.
This story leaves many questions unanswered. No editing errors, gratuitous violence or drag-you-down drama.
Entertaining storyline that has some interesting twists. It also leaves the reader wondering why the sheriff doesn’t know more about the families he serves. Believable dialogue and characters with distinct personalities.
No desire to re-read this story. I may be interested in other works by this author.
Well written, intense storyline. Romantic and full of sixpence.
The characters are well described and ,I can just picture them.
Very quick read. Easy to get into and to keep your attention. Can’t wait to read more of Calle’s books.
