This was a fun story of an irritation turning into a flirtation. Josie is a breath of fresh air. I read this very fast because I needed to find out what happens next.
Rogue Gentleman: A Roommates Romantic Comedy
by Kylie Gilmore
Josie
I’m an actress between gigs, crashing on the couch at my cousin’s old place. I won’t be here forever. I just filmed a pilot and, if the show gets picked up, I’m off to LA for my dream job. Only I never expected my new roommate would be the grouchiest man on earth. It almost cancels out his sexy rugged good looks. Almost.
Sean
The last thing I need is a woman moving into the house I’m renovating on the side. First of all, I live here. Second, I’m running on fumes trying to juggle my day job too. I don’t have time for her irritating cheer or her distractingly cute little body. I’ve got work to do.
And then Josie decides to “help” me renovate, which has the aggravating effect of making more work for me. I’m losing my damn mind. Yet, somehow, I can’t stop looking at her.
This romantic comedy stands alone with a swoonworthy happy-ever-after! No cliffhangers.

Reviews
Once again author Kylie Gilmore has put forth a captivating novel. The characters are entertaining and robust and it was a pleasure reading their story. My one criticism is the continued use of "ya" instead of the correct "you"; while I understand it was supposed to represent the Brooklyn accent, I felt it was overdone. All things considered, this book is a winner and we'll worth reading.
I enjoyed parts of the book. I liked Sean. He's a gentleman unfortunately he falls
in love with a unsecured young women. Why do women today have to be so independent without realizing it takes sharing two working together to make a great relationship?
Spoilers
The h is a wannabe actress and crashes at her cousin’s house. Her cousin is letting her stay at her place while the house is undergoing renovations. Unfortunately, her cousin’s ex is also living there. He gets to live there for free while renovating the place. The h’s cousin was living at the house with the ex..aka the H…for about six months. Then she found someone else. She cheated on the H and walked out but had made a deal with him. Free lodging in exchange for free renovation. The H is grumpy in the beginning but warms up to the bubbly h since they have to share close quarters. They get their HEA despite the cousin’s intention to try and win the H back.
I hate story lines with siblings sharing the same person. Here the cousins were really tight. They were like sisters and they both had been with the H. The cousins talked a great deal about the H. And there was quite a bit of discussion surrounding the cousin and the H too. And it’s the cousin who talks the h into hearing the H out because she knows him so well at the end of the book. For me, it’s too weird of a relationship…too much of all in the family.
Not for me.
Josie is so cute and sweet enough even to turn around a big grump like Sean. I love how exuberant Josie is and how she just wants to help Sean. But I also like how Sean is fighting his attraction to her.
I said I wasn't going to read another but I did it anyway. I started with nmbr 7 and thought it was ok but really this one was worse. The female character was just irritating. This book was only saved by Sean. The next one up is the whole wake up in Vegas married...read that scenario several times. Anyway, its ok if you are into irritatingly chipper characters.
This series just keeps getting better and better- the characters and storylines are funny and sexy and you can’t put them down. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.
Once again, another great book! This one didn’t disappoint, it had some great chemistry, and was light on the angst. I enjoyed it, and I look forward to more!
