The fate of civilization rests with the secret powers that lie within Paragon Island. A dark magic organization known as the Ashes are unrelenting in their search amidst the southern seas. If they get their hands on it, humanity would be forced to bow to them.
As part of the military in the cold mountains of the north, Freya Loveless spent her entire life perfecting ice sorcery. In a turn of events, she was to command a ship into the tropical south, and her childhood dreams of seeing mermaids came closer to reality.
Amidst the peaceful islands, Freya’s ship was attacked by the Ashes. They bombarded and dismembered her crew, leaving her as the only survivor.
Freya was found by the Trident – a small group of extremely talented pirate killers. Their interests were the same; take down the Ashes and destroy the powers of Paragon Island.
