Rule #8 - The old woman who lives in the Serpentine Marshlands is not to be trusted.

~*~

Sweet and innocent good girl Arisa Reed always strives for perfection. As a dancer, she pushes her body to the limits every single day. Her parents demand it, wanting nothing less than the best from their darling daughter.

…Except the mysterious Atlan Tech crew came into town a few months ago and started dancing circles around her small town troupe. Muscular, athletic, stupidly hot bad boy Eric Eventide leads the charge, stretching her limits in ways she never knew were possible.

If she had her way, they’d be doing a different kind of dance and stretching something she’s definitely never stretched before, but, um…

No!

She can’t distract herself with hunky rival bad boys. She has a future in dance to focus on.

Which is why, against her better judgement, she seeks help from the devious old woman living in the marshlands.

Now she’s accidentally sold her soul for the one thing she thought she loved most and the only one who can save her is the bad boy she loves to hate.

But Eric Eventide has a deep dark secret of his own…

A Magical Story

Lots of things going on in this one… For Arisa, dancing is her life, and she and her parents desire is that she be perfect in her dance. Then Eric Eventide arrives in town and the troubles start. He and the Atlan Tech crew are Atlanteans. The guys are very attractive and are getting lots of attention, pushing their bodies beyond normal limits.

In desperation, Arisa seeks help from the devious old woman, Erzebet, who lives in the marshlands. Her kind of magic demands a high price, some kind of “favor” that Arisa will have to do. Now only Eric can perhaps save her from the consequences of her actions. Is his magic strong enough to protect her?

Dancer and bad boy romance

I have read almost all of Emmy Clark's 'Steamydale' stories and I absolutely love them. Each story has different characters and different storylines so you don't need to read any of the previous stories to understand what's going on. This story was steamy and had to do with a dancer and a bad boy. I really enjoyed this characters and did not want to put the book down until I was completely finished. I really enjoyed Evan and Arisa's story and can't wait to read more from Steamydale!

A very enjoyable read

Arisa is a beautiful red-headed dancer. Eric is a rich boy from an elite dancing academy. He is an Atlantean and his home is the water. An unscrupulous dance director. An unfair advantage. A hottie bad boy. Dancers. First time love. Loved this story.

To do what she never dreamed of doing

This story is riveting, to say the least. These two are in a rivalry to be the best. She is one that strives for the best for herself and her life choice to be a dancer. And here he comes, the one man that could come between what she thinks she wants in life and what she needs in life. These two have a chemistry that is undeniable for sure. She does something she never thought she would do. But then again, don't we all do at least one thing we didn't think we would. With this happening, she puts herself where she shouldn't be. Now he needs to be the one that is there for her. Can these two get past what is between them to end the rivalry. Or does that rivalry stay?

A bit of a fairy tale romance!

Knocked Up by the Atlantean by Emmy Clark is the story of Eric and Arisa. He’s an Atlantean dancer and she’s a talented dancer as well. He wants to get to know her…she wants fairness at school. Bring in a little dark magic and the problems begin

I tried hard to enjoy this story…the premise was good. I didn’t like the characters much and the story dragged a bit for me. Nevertheless, it was a pretty good story

Knocked Up by the Atlantean

The story is decent, but it almost felt too long for what I expect of this series. I did like some of the build up with Arisa and Eric, it was cute to see their flirting. There were a lot of hints of backstory for the witch, but we never get the full story. It felt more like it was thrown in to fit with the original tale. Also, there are mentions of Arisa's siblings, but then we never actually see them or get anything about them. It was a cute story, but the pacing just felt a bit slow, especially given the rest of the series.

Steamydale is one small town that hides its secrets and has rules to safeguard its townsfolk but typical of the young these days, they don't follow the rules. Thankfully, the solution to breaking the "curse" is the love of own the hidden secrets in Steamydale. Arisa does not know that the play they are playing is much more closer to the truth.

The story is more focused on Arisa and Erik and their dreams to go out in the world but the "curse" did break the ice between them. They have wonderful parents and friends around them but of course there are also unlikeable characters that add a little spice to our story.

Dance Like No One Is Watching...

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW of Knocked Up by the Atlantean by Emmy Clark. This read is part of the Sexy Stories From Steamydale world. These reads are linked by the town and can be read as stand alone. This story brings us Arisa, a human and Eric, an Atlantean. While I enjoyed this read, there were a couple of questions that were left unanswered, but since things crop up from book to book that may have been intentional. A great read that brings the world of dance and entertainment front and center. Fast paced and steamily sexy (Mature Readers Only), here is a read that can not be set aside once started. Mind the rules!
