This is hands down the best cybersecurity resource I have ever seen for the SMB market. Unlike most other books, this author isn't just rehashing existing NIST CSF documents and advice. Instead, the framework and advice are delivered with relevant examples, valuable resources, and clear direction. I've read a lot of cybersecurity strategy books, but this one is the one I would recommend to anyone without hesitation - regardless of where they are in their cybersecurity journey.

Best book I read so far on explaining cybersecurity to business owners and the C-Suite. This book is written in layman's terms and present substantial information, organizational tips and very detailed explanation of the controls. The self assessment sections are very useful to help businesses on their journey to implement better cybersecurity. Every Business Executives and Board Members should be reading it.

I recommend this book to anyone who wants an overview in as "laymen" terms as can be expected of the current cyber security threats that frankly no business can ignore anymore. I applaud the author on his breadth and depth of knowledge while providing it in a readable and understandable format for any interested party.

Very informative book, great explanations both for seasoned IT professionals as well as technical DIYers and business managers. Marlon breaks down concepts that would take you days of googling and combining puzzle pieces into a short reading. Experienced professionals will enjoy reading this book as a review of things they may already know but as we know keeping all of this in mind all the time is nearly impossible. Marlon presents this as a tool to do just that. Business managers will find this tool useful to learn the language of the trade to prevent themselves from being seen as an easy mark by both hackers and unscrupulous “IT pros” who merely sell snake oil. To present a car analogy, reading this book for me was like reading Motor Trend as a kid, I knew every spec on every car but reading the drivers perspective still gave me another viewpoint.
