Sometimes you just need to pick out a book that looks good but not something you would normally read. I found this to be very interesting in how you can bring god into a situation and know it’s right. Sometimes you just need someone to listen to you to know you are doing the right thing.
Into the Lion's Den: (A Christian Amateur Sleuth Mystery)
by Sarah Biglow
Reverend Margot Quade never expected to be dropped in the midst of a murder. She just wanted to get reacquainted with her hometown of Port Marie, Vermont, maybe find her place in the world again after serving her tour of duty. But when a friendly dinner with a member of her unit turns deadly, she's pulled into a mystery she can't help but solve.
Then things go from dead to worse when she and all the suspects are stuck in the victim's home during the worst snowstorm her little town has seen in decades. Now she'll need more than a prayer to discover the truth behind who wanted the victim out of the picture ... and to stay alive herself. To complicate matters, her strained relationship with her cousin, who just happens to be the attending officer, threatens to ruin the whole investigation.
Can Margot and her cousin set aside their differences and bring a killer to justice? Or will the real reason behind the murder haunt Margot as much as her past?

This book is about Margot, a former chaplain in the military, returns home and is invited to a fellow military comrads house for dinner, only to find herself in a murder mystery. She is also recommended to take over as pastor at a local church and is able to use her new career to not only help the people involved in the murder do the right thing but to help them heel.
I recommend this book and Author. It is well written and a smooth read.
Into the Lion's Den by Sarah Biglow is an easy to read mystery story. This story is easy to read in an afternoon. The characters are realistic and easy to like. The storyline was well written and unpredictable. Everything you look for in a good mystery. Sarah Biglow is one of my favorite authors to read and I can't wait to get the second book!
Into the Lion’s Den (Reverend Margot Quade Cozy Mystery Series Book 1) by Sarah Biglow, is a sweet little mystery. Very fast read. It was a great little book to indulge my reading habit with. You know that habit you have when you really should be doing something else. This little story is guilt free. It was a great little mystery, interesting characters, and a page turner for sure. If you are looking for a good story to scratch that reading itch this is the book for you. You can read this book and get the housework done before the kids get off the bus. Good clean fun, no surprises here.
Nothing better than a sweet short mystery to take me into the weekend. I love mystery, psychological thrillers, and thrillers, but once in a while I love the sweet mysteries. The writing of cozy mysteries have piqued my interest for several reasons. The main reason is the gift of the author to tell me the story and hold my interest in a short story format for the mystery. In this story Reverend Margot Quade was invited to dinner, which turns out to be a murder at dinner. WIll Reverend Margot Quade be able to solve the mystery? Will the tension between family members be too much? I highly recommend you read this mystery to find out the answer to these questions and more.
Into the Lion’s Den: ( A Christian Cozy Mystery) by Sarah Biglow is the first book in the Reverend Margot Quade Cozy Mysteries series. This is a sweet, easy read that you will able to get yourself lost in for a few hours. This is a nice, clean mystery book so for those who prefer their books on the cleaner side then I would definitely recommend this book. This author did really well with keep the book that way without losing the interest of the reader. The book was still interesting and fun to read and the characters were all still enjoyable. I really liked as well that even though it is pegged as a “Christian Cozy” story, never at any point did it feel like it was being forced upon you. Of course the topic was there, and was prevalent in the book, but the author did a tasteful job of including it. For me this actually made the book all the more enjoyable.
I have read a few books now by this author and I have enjoyed every one of them. This is obviously the start of a great new series and I cannot wait to read more!
