Well-written and true to the era with dialogue, this Medieval Scottish romance with a lovely cover, provided the typical gory, sex, and adventure with a predictable conclusion. For those who enjoy a good Scottish tales involving many ups and downs with a happy ending.

Awesome read by Willa ,this author never fails to give us a great read and this was amazing, woman stolen to be bride, a shipwreck will bring together Euan and Muirean in the fight for their lives , a bitter clan out to destroy lives and take control, from beginning to end i couldn't put it down, loved it .

This book will make you laugh, and then cry, and then laugh. The author really pulls you into the characters world. You feel their emotions! It's full of action and keeps you guessing

Loved the book. It made me feel like i was there and made you feel for the characters, and made you just want to defend them. The romance that was in it was perfect will read again when i get a chance.

You will love this story and its characters. The story will hold you until the climax. The fact that she is the laird's daughter should have Euan run for the hills, but that's not even in this thoughts when he returns her to her father. It's a little bit of a let down, but a man in love will overlook almost anything. That's just one small thing in this story, and the action and excitement is in the intrigue of the clan Ross.

I loved this book, so much action and adventure. I thought the characters were so strong even after everything they went through. I hope Ella gets her happy ending. Euan is such a great guy. It took a lot but he and Muireall got their HEA.

His ship capsized, and everyone aboard seemed lost. Somehow, he made it alive, but he was in enemy territory. Then, he saw a woman on the verge of drowning, and he could not just leave her. He rescued her from drowning, and a journey of love and anguish began. Do they survive the tide? Muireall was a prisoner, and she was hoping Euan would help her escape. Do they make it out alive? Even if they do, are their secrets going to stop them from being together, or does love win in the end? I enjoyed reading this Scottish romance, and I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

This is dramatic, suspenseful and romantic. Euan is stubborn, impulsive, caring and protective. Muireall is strong, brave, determined and resilient. When Euan's ship wrecks on the shores of the treacherous Ross clan, he finds himself rescuing a woman from drowning, then hiding with her in a cave. Muireall, and two other women, had been stolen from their clan by the Ross and she was trying to find a way to escape. She convinces him to help rescue her, but instead of taking her home, he brings her to his clan. They end up spending a lot of time together and fall in love, but Muireall just wants to go home. The storyline is full of shocking surprises that make it hard to put down, and the characters are interesting and a little engaging.
