Nice easy read!
Ghostwater
by Will Wight
Long ago, the Monarch Northstrider created a world of his own.
This world, known as Ghostwater, housed some of his most valuable experiments. Now, it has been damaged by the attack of the Bleeding Phoenix, and a team of Skysworn have been sent to recover whatever they can from the dying world.
Now, Lindon must brave the depths of this new dimension, scavenging treasures and pushing his skills to new heights to compete with new enemies.
Because Ghostwater is not as empty as it seems.
Reviews
Amazing way to continue the series.
This story feel forced. Lindon’s advancement from Lowgold to Highgold and finally, Truegold was achieved in a really short time, in a world that was purposely set up to advance him. How convenient. It's still an enjoyable read and I really like the character and premise I wish Wight had taken his time with Lindon instead of fast tracking it, as it is now.
Just a great series of books. Will once again does a fantastic job of creating a believable world of fantastic proportions
I have to say this volume in the cradle series has to be my favorite so far. Finally my boy Lindon gets some alone time adventuring and advancing in his path of blackflame. Some really good fighting from him and so glad we got to see him and orthos tag team in this novel. Yerin gets to partner with Mercy and they are surprisingly good combo together. Excited for the next volume and highly recommend this series.
I love the characters and how they are so loyal to one another, Eithan is the man! What a story.
The series continues in a somewhat predictable fashion, with a beginning that resembles the formulaic fashion that the series seemed to have fallen into. However, Wight introduces a new, interesting character named Dross which helps to reinvigorate things. The series seems to sway more towards the science fiction elements as well, and I have my suspicions about the true nature of the residents of Cradle.... The series is getting interesting again. I look forward to seeing where it leads!
This continuation of Cradle saga is as gripping as all the previous books. It is fast paced, imaginative and clean. Hard to put down.
