STORY:
I was dying for Dominik’s story. I just think he is so sexy. Not because of his wealth, but his whole bravado and his attitude towards people and situations. We first get to see a bit of his and Willow’s story play out in Dax’s, this is Willow’s brother. Willow’s approach at trying not to fall hard for Dominik was frivolous but still very entertaining. Dominik’s non stop pursuit of Willow was very much a turn on as the word no is not in his vocabulary when he wants what he wants.
CHEMISTRY:
Their physical chemistry was lovable, and I like the way Willow lets Dominik takes charge in the bedroom, while out of the bedroom she can be stubborn and wanna be dominant.
SECONDARY CHARACTERS
Per usual, love seeing the team and past and new players. They do make each book more appealing to read.
Overall, love Dominik’s and Willow’s story and it did not disappoint.
***I don’t equate these stories to real life. It’s about personal taste and what you would or want to tolerate with the books you read. I know we all have different opinions and preferences with what we read and hope this review was helpful.

I absolutely love anything Sawyer Bennett writes. Her hockey romances are the best! Let me say I love hockey to begin with. In this particular book, she really goes into the description of the game. I actually felt like I was watching it on tv!
Dominik the owner of the Arizona Vengeance, is a self made billionaire. Loosing his parents at a very age, he was sent to live with his grandfather. When he passed away, he went into the foster care system. At eighteen, he became an entrepreneur. Made a lot of money and just started investing. First he. Ought a basketball team, then shortly after the hockey team. Women are always hoping for more than one date, but that’s not who he is. That is until he meets Willow. She is the younger sister of one of his hockey players, and he wants to go out with her, but she keeps ignoring him.
Willow finally returns from her last job as a photojournalist, she doesn’t want to miss the playoffs and watch her brother play. The owner of the team, Dominik, keeps texting her and asking her out. She was hurt badly by her fiancé and since then has trust issues when it comes to men. Her friends convince her to go out with Dominik, and give him a chance. His reputation isn’t great, him being a player, but what the heck.
One date and they can’t keep their hands off each other. So why not continue to see him just for the sex. As they get to know each other, their start to trust more. However, Willow doesn’t want a relationship.
I love these two characters, extremely hot!
Sawyer Bennett is an author who can do no wrong when it comes to a good contemporary romance novel. This is one of her many good series, and am proud to say she's on my list of authors that I automatically and enthusiastically read every new book that comes out.
I would surely recommend this latest S.B. book she keeps thing moving smoothly w/all kinds of yummy heat...angst ...bromance...funny banter etc.

There was so much to enjoy with this book and it would have received 4 stars instead of 2 if Dominik apologized for even one of his mistakes. Willow wasn't the only one making mistakes in their relationship. Dominik made his fair share but he never acknowledged them to her, which made his character come across as two dimensional. It was so prevalent to the storyline that it ruined to story for me.
I loved Dominik and Willow!!!! First Dominik is rich, sexy and so cool...Willow is an independent women...they have chemistry which turns into so much more...when Dominik pops the question Willow says no..this leads to two broken souls until Dominik goes and rescued his girl! Hot hockey player alert!
As always Sawyer Bennett Nails it! I think this is my favorite of all, including Carolina & Arizona series. I got chills as she described Vengeance team playoff game. Obviously, I am a hockey fanatic with a little hockey withdrawal.
OMG!! the last three or 4 chapters had me on the edge of my seat! I love how strong willed Willows character is and just fell in love with her. The voice actor for Dominik was a total turn on and just seemed to fit the character to a flippin T. This one is my #1 in the series....so far...lol.
