Resisting the Bad Boy: Sullivan Brothers Nice Girl Serial Trilogy, Book 1 of 3 (CAN'T RESIST)
by Violet Duke
He's the ruthless lawyer with a not-so-little black book, and one simple rule as unyielding as his heart: Nothing more than a month.
She's the doctoral student helping to raise his niece. His brother's best friend. And the valium for his soul he had no business wanting.
To be fair, she did ask him for advice--on what she could do to stop being 'the nice girl' for a little bit. All he did was answer truthfully: "Try something new that excites you."
...Preferably him.

Reviews
Abby is your classic good girl - teaches, volunteers, and hands out at home instead of bars. Enter Connor, her best friends brother and classic bad boy... though bad boy isn't entirely true, he has a huge heart, that can't hold its own against sweet Abby.
Be warned this is a cliff hanger and I'm guessing the others are too. The writing was ok but gouging people for more money for a story that could be in ONE book is disgusting and I refuse to play along. And actually the story didn't leave me wanting more so I'm ok not reading the other books in the story ( notice I said story and NOT series)
This was book 1 in a new series to me and my first time reading this author. Connor Sullivan is a hot sexy lawyer who never sees the same woman for more than a month. He is helping his brother Brian who is struggling after his wife Beth died a year ago leaving him to care for his daughter. Abby Bartlett has been friends with Brian since high school she is also helping him take care of daughter. When Connor and Abby begin hooking up things begins happening. Connor begins falling in love with her and so does Brian. This was a pretty good read that I liked. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
Here’s the formula: “bad boy” meets good girl, they fall in love, but said bad boy doesn’t want to “corrupt” her goodness and backs off leaving her to his more wholesome brother with whom she is friends. Cliffhanger ensues.
Yes, I know this is a trilogy, it says so right in the title. Unfortunately, there’s not enough depth of plot or action to warrant three books. One and done for me.
Read the book in one evening. can’t wait to start the next one. Bryan and his brother Connor are such amazing caring men. Abby and Bryan have been best friends since college. She helped babysit his daughter, Skylar during his wife’s deteriorating sickness and passing. Bryan is the teacher and sweet single dad to a preteen. Connor, his older brother, is the bad boy attorney working at the same firm as his nasty father.
I’m anxious to see who Abby actually ends up with.
Book one introduces Abby and Connor’s relationship. I. Guessing Book two deals with Abby’s choices. Can’t wait to read on!
Very good dialog. The chemistry between the two main characters is off the charts. Very well written. But, it is a cliff hanger.
Loved the story that Abby and Connor get together HATE that the book ended the way it did. Seriously Conner is going to let Brian go out with Abby to see if they are more comparable. Hated that
