Another good one. The author does mystery/romance really well. The characters were great. Only one left. Maybe the author will continue to write more about the Rockfords.

Not my kind of book. A very generous two stars from me. A felon just out of prison seemed so out of touch after five years locked away for a crime he did not commit. I expected a more tough and wise man. Nothing in this book got me interested but I persevered only to be disappointed

Chase and Shelby’s Story
Chase was just released from prison for a crime he didn’t do. He was covering up for someone. He gets a job as a bodyguard through his friend Blake Rockford and on the first night his client is murdered. Shelby is the client’s daughter and together she and Chase vow to find the killer. This is a lovely romantic suspense story that kept me on my toes. The animals are pretty terrific. I love the closeness between the Rockfords and their friends.

Couldn't put the book down. Real page turner. I liked this book best out of the series. Action and the characters. The storyline was great.
