No Love Like Nantucket
by Grace Palmer
She built the Sweet Island Inn. But can Toni Benson build a life of happiness for herself?
Toni Benson’s life has been a roller coaster.
Years ago, the heartbreak caused by a cheating ex-husband left her in tatters.
Then she discovered the run-down fixer-upper that would become the Sweet Island Inn.
For a while, things were good.
But when her brother Henry’s tragic death sends her reeling all over again, she’s back to square one.
So she sets off on an overseas journey, in hopes of learning from scratch what kind of woman she is meant to be.
She wasn’t looking for love.
But it found her anyways.
Follow Toni’s journey as the Nantucket native navigates an explosive romance, an unbearable tragedy, and the prospect of starting life anew in her late fifties.
In the end, only one thing is certain: there is no love like her love for Nantucket.
Travel back to the very beginnings of the Sweet Island Inn and follow along with the soaring highs and heartbreaking lows of Aunt Toni’s story in NO LOVE LIKE NANTUCKET, the fourth installment of author Grace Palmer’s beloved Sweet Island Inn series.
Reviews
for number of pages cost is too high...soft cover etc should be less.
I don't know how you do It, Grace Palmer, but you manage to hit every nerve, bring out every emotion and leave me clamoring for more. Thank you.
I really liked this book it was about Toni who in th beginning had a shock then she ran a Bed And Breakfast on Nantucket for years after her brother died tragedy she had to leave and go on a adventure in goes back and forth before she ran her business and to the present in another country. Looking forward to book 5. You will love this book especially if your reading all the books in this series.
The back and forth in time with 18 year difference was hard to follow. Then the ending for the 18 years later was not resolved at all. Not cohesive, maybe in another book or two!
This was a great story. But whoever did the editing dropped the ball. There were a lot of errors. It made it kind of hard to read.
I normally love all of Grace Pamer's novels 5 stars. But this one is a departure from our Mae Benson female lead and is instead several years early with Toni Benson and how the Sweet Island Inn on Nantucket came to be in the first place.
Sweet Island was founded out of heartbreak, so no wonder Mae Benson in the present-day novels continues to struggle with holding it all together while trying to tamper family drama.

I had to read it since it was about a girl with my name and it turned out to be great.
This book did show what it would be like in both good and bad situations. Also showed how past bad experiences made it more difficult to trust new good experiences. Have seen some situations like were shown in the book. Was a bit surprised how abruptly it felt to me when it ended.
A Sweet Island Inn book, this story was fantastic and exciting and when I started reading this book it turn out to be fourth book in a series.Well I really enjoyed reading this book.
Not a huge fan of books that switch back and forth from one time and place to another, enough so that I usually deduct a star. Not this time. Getting to know Toni was somewhat disturbing since she appears to be a woman full of angst most of the time and no matter what the circumstances. In spite of these things, I hung on every word while living through her journey. A well written, fascinating read!
What a great story. Tony, who is only trying to give. Jarred a chance is met with the fact that he has been cheating.. Tony takes off and ends up in. Argentina and meets the man of her dreams, what a delieroisly happy time it becomes. Then reality hit when he asks her to stay and she runs off again this time too. Lisbon,a very dismal place, then. suddenly the nice man appears again. Tells her he loves her, come back to me, one can only assume she does, the end leaves me blank.
It was hard to follow the storyline. Toni’s character was interesting; however, I felt the story was all over the place. This may just be me as I tend to prefer books that have a definite beginning, middle and end. May read this again at another time to see if it was helter skelter as the first time through.
