Love Heals All

I’m not the same man I once was.

The things I’ve seen, the things I’ve done, haunt me every day…and every night. It never leaves, always scratching and clawing at the surface of my mind, driving me insane.

When I close my eyes, the images are there. I can’t forget the pain, the fear. I don’t think anyone could.

And then there’s Brooke, the girl I left behind years ago because of my deployment. But I’m back now, and she’s still the woman I want. The connection we shared in the past is still there, as if I had never left.

The only problem is I need to find a way to heal and get rid of the demons I carry around inside, and I need to do it before it destroys me.

Before it destroys her.

Loved!!

One of my must read authors! I absolutely love her writing style. I love the depth she puts into her characters and I love how she does such a phenomenal job world building. Brooke and Vaughn were perfect for one another and I loved watching these two be there for one another in good times and in struggles. Love really can heal all!

Great emotional story

This story is great, it has a lot of emotion in it. You feel both Vaughn’s angst of dealing with his ptsd and Brooke’s emotions of loving him and not knowing how to help him.

Have tissues ready...An amazing emotional read I LOVED IT

I thought nothing could touch my heart more than the first book in this series I was so wrong. The author out did herself bring the most touching read that I fell in love with it only into the first few pages. I had no trouble at all picturing the scenes and feeling the emotion and passion these two have when they come together. What a wonderful second chance at love that spans over years and will steal your heart making you want to come back to read it again.

Leaving the ones you love behind is so hard, letting go of the one you love is even harder. Losing that love is heartbreaking but having a second chance with all the issues Vaughn had is just deviating. PTSD is a real issue with our military, the author show the true effect it has on those that serve and those that are left behind. This is truly an emotional read, one that pulls away thinking he might hurt her to the other not willing to give up on what she wants and demands his attention.

The author gives a wonderful emotional read that you will be hooked and will read this at one stetting. I loved the characters and the town they live in. The author writes in a style that just sucks you in and you become part of the story. The characters are you family. Each story in this series is better than the last. I loved the ending but I loved the whole book. It is well worth your time. I hope you will pick this book up and give this author a try.

A compelling and powerful military romance!

Love Heals All (Once Broken Book 2)

"Love Heals All" by Alison Mello is the second compelling addition to the "Once Broken" series. A passionate and captivating military romance that hooks from the front cover. With a cast of wonderfully refreshing characters and a love story that breaks boundaries, this book is hard to put down. A 5-star read that exceeds all expectations.

"Love Heals All" continues to follow the love stories of the Bennett family in the small town of Fort Stewart. Unlike the love at first sight story embraced in the first addition to the series, this story focuses on a second chance at love....many years in the future. True to Alison Mello's creative and heartwarming style, the love that is fostered between the two main characters remains the focus of the story between Brooke and Vaughn. There is undeniable chemistry between the two that melts the pages. Also staying true to the series, Brooke and Vaughn face real life issues including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder common to many military personnel that have been in combat, and loss of a loved one. But they are not alone with the support of family, friends, fellow military personnel who have faced similar issues with PTSD and a cute new addition to their family, a pet dog. All the twists in the plot bring the couple Brooke and Vaughn closer together, and their frailties invoke the want for them to have a HEA, after all they have been through.

I recommend "Love Heals All" to readers who enjoy a military romance with substance and of course a fiery love story. I can't wait to see what Alison has next install for the Bennett family, and who will next meet cupid's arrow. As previously mentioned in the first addition to the series, "Embracing Love", I would recommend readers to follow the series in sequence to get the most out of the series and characters.

I reviewed this book voluntarily from a free copy.

Excellent book

I really love the way she stuck by him through all his struggles. It's not easy having PTSD not alone admitting you have it. Getting her can be even more difficult. But his friends never leave his side. That's heartwarming. I just loved this book.

Love heals all

I’ve laughed and cried with this couple and it all started with a teenage crush. Love means being there for each other in the good time and bad.
