Family Bonds- Emily and Crew

Really liked it

I really love the story line. Great dialogue among character's. Nice moral story about truth, morals, love and responsibility. One that and aging grandmother could approve of.

Natalie Ann is one of my favourite authors and Amore Island series is one of my favourites. Emily is a member of the Bond family and gets talked into attending the annual "auction" for charity and Crew is her mailman and wants to win a date with Emily at the auction. Crew is down to earth and they hit it off. Emily comes off as a bit abrasive and think they will never be serious. Crew is hiding the fact that he is a Millionaire thanks to his parents winning the lottery.

They are from different social class but what happens when they fall in love ?

Emily was nice to her mailman Crew giving him waters and coffee so I could see why he'd jump at the chance to win a date with her to see if they could become more than just friendly acquaintances. But after wanting more than just that first date she comes off as abrasive, insisting that they will never be serious. She was hurt by her ex who was more concerned with having a piece of her hotel than her, so she has trust issues, but she can't assume Crew would be same and that they couldn't last. Crew had a chip on his shoulder most of the book. He kept bringing up that she comes from money and he's a blue collar worker and getting offended at any comment that might seem like someone was looking down on him for it. I understand hiding the fact that he has a lot of money because so many people, family members included used him over it and tried to take it away. And once he kept a big secret like that it was hard to reveal it to the woman he starts to love without fearing it will push her away. I loved his no filter take charge grandmother. Emily's sister Penelope was funny too and it will be interesting to see who she eventually ends up with.

Amore Island Series… I just love visiting and falling in love all over again!

I don't know that I could be upset with someone who wanted to know if they were liked / loved for themselves and not their money!

Loved that Crew won the bid at the charity auction for a date with Emily.

Ms. Natalie Ann has kept me coming back to the island and leaving with a smile on my face and warmth in my heart! Thank you!

I love this series. Crew and Emily story showed that true love can overcome everything. Even thouhg Crew was a mail man she didn't let that stand in their way. Crew grandmother was a great character I love her

Emily and Crew have a lot in common but some things not at all . They both have money but whereas Emily was born with it Crew’s family won the lottery. Crew is a mailman that likes the quiet life with family that just wants money so he keeps quiet about it. Emily has had boyfriends who just wanted her money. They are attracted to each other but both need to find ways to be honest with each other. Crews grandmother was.a great character and a good addition to the story.
