Down for Her: A Riches-to-Rags Steamy Romance

I didn't like that Brett constantly ignored Kylie and then she had to apologize to him even though she was not at fault. Things would constantly happen and Brett would take it the wrong way and then he would stop talking to Kylie and it was weird. So I don't recommend wasting your time on this.

The h runs away from her cheating fiancé and her family. She’s from a wealthy family and her father had still expected her to marry the cheating douche. She gets a job at a resort with free board as a pool attendant. There’s a mix up with the lodging and she ends up bunking with the H and his roomie. She and the H are attracted to each other. They find their HEA after some problems with OW and OM.

I didn’t think there was much chemistry with the H and h. The H spent a lot of time with his platonic best friend whom was female. They grew up together and he shared everything with her. He didn’t share anything with the h. Meanwhile the h spent a lot of time with the H’s bestie’s ex. The bestie’s ex was there for the h when she was homeless and when the H ignored her. She was better off with this guy than the H. The H should have gotten together with his bestie.

A 2.5 star read.

Kylie has lived a very privileged life but is tired of living under her father's control. Since dad cut off all her money she found a job that provides housing and it figuring out how to live on her own and adapt. Brett on the other hand has been working his way up from nothing. A clerical error throws them together, making for a wonderful ride full of complications and best intentions gone awry. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Loved it so much!

A wonderful tale of finding friendship, family, and love. I truly enjoyed the characters and how they interacted with one another. Can't wait to dive into book two in this series!

Loved the theme of the storyline it was entertaining and well worth reading. The characters are engaging and had great and undeniable chemistry throughout the pages.

Brett and Kylie are two very flawed people with lots of baggage from two very different worlds that just seem to fit. Brett is a player, but I feel like he was ready for more than one night stands even before Kylie showed up. I loved getting to know them. They're story was fun and engaging. This authors characters are always easy to relate to even when they are completely different from the reader. I enjoyed their story quite a bit, and I look forward to more books in this series. I’m excited about getting to know some of the other characters too!
