Conflict Of Hearts: Witmer 4: Small Western Town Military Alpha Romance (Witmer Warriors)
by Jean Stokes
♥If there's one thing I'm absolutely certain of, it's that you should never, ever date a military man♥
⚠WARNING: The Witmer Series is addictive! Be prepared to stay up until 3am reading about steamy passion in a small Western town, smokin' hot protective military alphas and their feisty heroines!⚠At best, they're only good for one night only—not the kind of guy one brings home to Mama. At worst, they've got secrets and lies and egos big enough to send any woman running for the hills. As a physical therapist for soldiers at Fort Bliss, I see a lot of faces come and go but none made an impression like Dwane Forest, a Private from New Orleans who suffered a bad injury and gets transferred into my care.I'm the best there is around these parts, and Dwane's determination, his wit and sarcasm—and that big, mischievous smile—draw me in immediately.Maybe rules are made to be broken. Maybe there are always exceptions.Maybe there's one military man that might be worth keeping around . . .Reviews★★★★★ "I have to say that Jean has done a great job in this series. Book four is for sure not a disappointment. Sadie is a PT for the Army post in Witmer. She does not think that military men are made for commitment only for flings. Sadie meets Dwane on his first day on Post. Dwane is drawn to her right from the start. Sadie is attracted to him but not for a commitment. Dwane is bullied on his first night back in his home town. Sadie has to help Dwane get back into shape as he was hurt. With both of them being in a professional relationship can these two make things work? Will Sadie see that Dwane is more then just a fling?"
★★★★★ "Sadie is a physical therapist at Fort Bliss. Dwane was injured during a mission and needs drastic help to get him back up to speed. A relationship forms, but they try to push it off as it is not a good idea in the military. The recovery period is up and down because of a few fights here and there and trying the assessment before ready. The characters are terrific and hit off each other well. The romance hits a few snags, especially an ex that shows up, but they bounce back. Loved the ending and can not wait for the next book. Love this group."
★★★★★ "He was badly injured and is stationed in witmer to get physical therapy. His therapist and him have sexual tension from the start. As their respect for each other grows so does the tension. There are some twists and turns along the way to their hea. I really have enjoyed the books i have read in this series and I think you will too."
Author Note
This is the Witmer story of Sadie and Dwane, a friends-to-lovers meet-cute romance in a small-town western setting with an independent heroine, an alpha hero, a dash of humor, no cheating and a guaranteed happily ever after! There is a healthy dose of steamy scenes. There is no cliffhanger and can be read standalone but I recommend it to be read as the fourth in the Witmer series. You’ll become enchanted by the small town and its residents.Steam & language alert 18+ only: I don't want your angry vigilante mama after me! If you aren’t eighteen then go read Harry Potter, mind your language and eat your broccoli! What are you waiting for?
