This was such a good book absolutely loved it. Was such a good story line and had everything you would expect in an Mc romance

I am new to Betty S. I wished Jake wasn’t sooo immature through most of the book. What he described as impulsive when it came to women, I just thought was toxic and childish. That said, I couldn’t put the book down. It got really good midway through … taking out too much of the back and forth between Liz and Jake would have helped. Man, Liz did dodge a bullet with pretty boy, zero backbone Dillon! Loved Nix and can’t wait to read book 3.

Castle of Kings by Betty Shreffler is the first book in the King MC serie.
Liz is the sister of the president of the Kings MC Club. Now she's back after being away for studies. And of course she's gonna become involve with the only one member, Nix, her brother, had warned her not too. But for the moment Jack saw her, he decided that she was his. And he always got what he wants no matter the cost. Liz admit she can no longer denied the effect he has on her. Liz don't want to escape him.
I have really loved Jack and Liz story. This book was really great.
Guano type of crazy.
Well this was pretty crazy. I have to say I loved it. These two crazy “kids” are prefect for each other. Both smart and sarcastic. Both at times too stupid to live, and yet here they are alive to tell the tale.
He’s a brother of an MC who is interested in the Presidents sister. She’s a nurse and recent college graduate. She’s good looking and down with “the life” so clearly she’s a catch server also brothers are trying to lock down. She however won’t settle for just any brother, she’s holding out for the one with the worst reputation who had sex with her brother girlfriend (hahahahha) I promise you. I recommend this book.

Woweee this book was hot! If you don't like bossy, alpha male leads go ahead and pick another series. Jake is so growly, knows what he wants when he sees it and takes it with no apologies. Liz is strong and no pushover. She is no one's to claim. We sure do have fun following these 2 as they make their way to each other. Love the family aspect of the Kings and that these guys are legit legal. Can't wait to continue the series...several alpha males I want to get to know better. Plenty of suspense to keep the pages turning. Great read.
NOT A GOOD READ....BORING
There's a few issues with this story.
This story had potential. But it gets boring the more it goes on. Cloaked in more sexy time scenes to hide it's lack of luster.
Then what's with the female being so damn cliche!? She grew up in that life and is an RN but she doesn't want her own bike (despite boasting her love of muscle cars) and can't change her own tire!? Then even more cliche she's the one in HIS kitchen cooking?!

I never thought i'm gonna say thls but too many steamy scenes i skip lots of them!
Dang that hurt to say for i love sexy steamy hot scenes!
But for an MC romance, i expect so many things that other romance genre dont have.
Brotherhood, the violance, the darkness, the sexy tattoed men.
I dont see the brotherhood when they aren't partying hard.
The dark and violence that is club bussines only come toward the end and only little part of the book. And even that feel restrained and feels like the author is afraid of going in the dark side.
I dont see connection let along brotherhood in this club.
And for the main charachters? They are both childish through to 50% of the story.
Keep going back n forward of lust, distrust, back to lust, then he pick on a girl, back to distrust and then bam! The L word is flying.
Sorry, but even pages after pages after chapter of steamy scenes couldn't cover the fact these main charachters arent doing anything to my vajajay.
I wish the author take more time building and let her dark side come to play.
Entertaining...enough
I wasn’t sure if I liked Jake. I loved how protective and loyal the h was of her brother. It always bothers me how quickly women in these books abandon their family when they get a little attention from an H.
All in all, I was entertained but I wasn’t fully engrossed. I read at least three other books in Braden finishing this one.
