Bleeding from a gunshot wound, alone and a fugitive, Annie steals a horse and rides just ahead of the man hunting her. Panicked, Annie is forced to make a choice that will haunt her forever. Only one man, a stranger, knows her secret and why she can't go home.

Dust-choked and sun-soaked, the town of Stillwater is owned and operated by tough, but fair rancher Bull Bronson until a band of bitter and vengeful ex-Confederate soldier’s marches into town challenging Bull’s authority and declaring war as they seek revenge for the losses of the Civil War.

Cowboys, gunslingers, and renegades… Shootouts, races, and reckonings, Where Ash Falls is the clash between the evil men turn to and the justice the innocent must take for themselves.

Enjoyed the Book

This book is full of rich characters and a good plot between good and evil. Ex-Confederate soldiers were still carrying hatred for everyone in their sight. They took over this town and began killing the townspeople who stood in their way. A lot of fighting and death, but an interesting story!

Absolutley riveting! Exciting read.

It felt as though I was being dropped right into the action; like being in a movie. In truth, I never knew that a western could be so entertaining. The writing is so tight that I was swept into the story from the very first sentence. I even found myself reading some of the sentences over and over again, because the description was so juicy. I highly recommend this book!

I enjoyed the flowing style of this book

I enjoyed the flowing style of this book. The author gave each character life and I wanted to know more about them. I had a hard time putting it down, and couldn't wait to come back and pick it back up again.

Where Ash Falls is such a good book. Usually when I begin to read a book and it catches my interest from page one, I cannot put it down. Such is this book. It is full of description and action. The characters become real and it brings you back into history where the innocent suffer from the after affects of the civil war.

Best western book I have read in a LONG time

Highly reccommended! Best western book I have read in a LONG time! Grabbing your attention from the very beginning, this book will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end. Highly descriptive and flowing helps the reader disappear into the "book reality" making the reader feel like a third-party observer. Instantly you will become attached to the characters, ruggled wild-west life and plot making it very difficult to put the book down. The story line is never dull...it doesn't allow you to predict how the story will unfold causing you to anxiously read chapter to chapter to find out what happens next. Just the right amount action mixed with (clean) romance to satisfy readers of both gender and all ages.

If you are considering reading this book, JUST DO IT! You will NOT regret it!

Multiple typos on the first page.

Ridiculous. Doesn't anyone proofread these things? The author, the editor, the publisher, and Amazon should all be extremely embarrassed.
