Great Story!
Heroine was best part
I’ll start by saying I didn’t know when I first started reading this that it was the second book in the series. I have read many, but not all of Croix’s other books. I am sad to say this wasn’t my favorite series of hers. Usually I have no problem picking up a book out of order, for some reason with this one I felt a little lost about the other characters. Maybe if I read them in order it would help? Valentina was by far my favorite part of this book - she was honest, straightforward, and likable. I had high expectations after the mixed up box scene, but I had a har time staying engaged. I’ll definitely try another book by Croix
Great story!
Loved the character of Valentina. Mail switch that caused the wrong person to get her vibrator truly memorable. And Lucas is very swoon worthy. Surely only a really
" nice guy" would offer to help her out if she " needed anything" -- right? LOL!
Great Series
I'm really enjoying this series and getting to know all the characters. I loved Lucas & Valentina’s story. These two such a great couple. It takes them both awhile to figure it out but they eventually get there. A captivating read.
Second chances
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. This is the sweet and hot romance of Lucas and Valentina.
I loved the storyline and characters. Being a single parent takes all of Lucas’s free time with no relationships in his future, but that changes when he bumps into Valentina where they work with a hand full of packages and gets hers by accident. They both work at Stolen Hearts Lodge a high end adventure resort, they also have rescue animals that bring a sweet side to the story.
Lucas and Valentina were perfect each other, and their chemistry simmered. After reading this one I hooked to read the rest. Would love to read more with all of these characters.
