Reviews
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and thoroughly enjoyed all of the characters and cannot wait to start reading the second book in this series
This is an exciting tale that I couldn't put down! I can't want to read more of Eldwin's adventures!
Eldwin has always wanted to follow in his fathers footsteps and become a great dragon rider. Before he is even able to start, he has 2 disadvantages.
First he it Low-Born, no noble status. And second, one of his hands is mangled. The only thing he has going for him is that his father was a great dragon rider and is a Noble by Deed. He quickly becomes friends with a girl who is constantly looking for trouble. Eldwin does well in the 3 tests but lets his anger get the best of him in the third. Will he make it?
A well written story but not a great one. The plot could use some work and more adventure would make it more interesting.
This book was awesome. If you have read and like Paolini inheritance series, then you will love this book and series. The writer gets your attention at the get go and doesn't let go. This is a page burner you won't put down.
Richard Fierce has become one of my favorite fantasy writers! Trial by Sorcery was such a fun read. A great beginning to a series; well written, likeable characters, and fast-paced adventure. It gave me that Harry Potter vibe at the start, a young boy going off to a magical school, this time to be a dragon rider, but it soon took on a life of its own. I can't wait to see what the rest of the series holds.
I enjoyed this book but it was waaaaay to short and the next one on the series is only 85 pages which is a bummer and its 3 dollars for it honestly the books should he in kindle unlimited for how short they are...sadly won't be reading anymore of this series
The novel has enough twists to ensure that soon as you think you have it figured out it turns in a new direction. It is a really enjoyable read.
Story was good, bought 2nd book too but it ended so quickly - maybe read in 1/2 hour. I think books are overpriced for their length so won't be buying the rest even though I'd like to continue the story.
A young man goes for testing at the dragon school and meets a young woman who turns out to be a princess. They have adventures as they try to solve the mysteries going on at the school and the danger that is facing them all. Really enjoyable read
