A very fun read! I've got young boys and they loved this story! They loved the adventure and I loved the expansive vocabulary words dashed throughout the book! My boys got to learn new words AND they enjoyed it?? Too good to be true! And they also loved the illustrations, very colorful and imaginative! They are definitely adding this to their favorites shelf!

Boyish Adventures

I know as a mom it can be hard sometimes to get your boys to read. Lots of things they just aren't interested in. When I first started to read this book kind of starts like an explosion and all these characters are thrown at you, and you wonder who are they? Well don't worry by chapter 2, their is depth and vision given to them. There's a sense of thrill, adventure, danger, and a little humor thrown in. All the talk of giants reminds me a bit of Steve Quayle. Well whether you believe they are real or fantasy, this is a book I'd suggest to a boy to get them hooked on reading. Might suggest it to my son's older cousin.
