This is a prequel to what promises to be an interesting series. I liked the characters and was anxious for more of them. When the story ended abruptly I was expecting that to happen, but it still surprised me. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

Reviews
This story about Asha a young girl who lost her parents in a car accident is just the beginning of a very well thought out and well written book ..it makes you feel as though you are really there with her ..feeling what she feels and learning what she is ..i was drawn into the story immediately and wanted more !
What is it like to be the girl on the outside?
I have a page of notes that were ready to be turned into a review, and the story would have rated 5 stars except for the following:
There is not a proper ending. A story has three parts. The last -- the conclusion -- ties up the other two parts; solves the problem or reaches resolution. Unfortunately, this was not the case. However, my copy contained the first two chapters of the next book, and that brought some closure. (Without the addition it would be rated as a 1 or 2.)
I have read a lot of great exciting books in my day but I have to say this book is one of the best. The characters and storyline are well thought-out by the author. I liked this book and I know that if you like a great mystery you will like this book also. I was sent this advanced review copy of this book to read and give my honest review. -- Roy in South Carolina.
But vivid and amazing leaving the reader begging for more.
Emotional, heartstring pulling, wonderful read. The end is a cliffhanger!
This book left me wanting more
Actually it was better than OK,but, I reduced it from a 4 to a 3 because of the ending.
