This is a sweet story but if you’re expecting dirty talk and steamy scenes like I was, you’ll be disappointed.
Talk Dirty To Me
by Ali Parker
A woman in the business of love that’s never been in a real relationship.
Check. That’s me. Nessa Night.
Now I know what you’re thinking. That sounds like a stripper name.
Hold up. Let me explain.
It’s my radio talk-show name. My incognito way of helping the world love deeper and more often.
Though my love life is like a ten-year-old fall leaf trapped between the pages of an old journal. #dramatic
I’m short. Curvy. Average at best.
And I’m a fraud.
For all the advice I give on the air, I have zero experience to back it up. I’m eternally single. Forever alone.
And the only man I’ve ever caught feelings for is one of my callers: Mr No Name.
Much to my surprise, he’s not unknown at all.
The grandson of the great Jack Daniels is my caller, and worse? He’s my brother’s best friend from high school.
Only one way to right these increasingly awkward wrongs.
High school reunion time. He wants in, and I want a date who looks like him.
The only thing off is his advice about love. It’s from Nessa night. Me!
And if he swoons over her (me!) one more time, I’ll have to give in and tell him.
Besides, I’m in the business of love.
If I don’t got this, who does? *Gulp*

I loved this story. I loved that the girl wasn't whisper thin, that the rich guy had issues - in other words they were real people who find happiness in each other. Highly recommend!
A new author for me. I wasn't sure what to expect from this story. I feel like Vanny represents a few us curvy women. I felt really connected to this character. Her brother's best friend to the rescue. Rhys issues stem from his family. These two hit it off as friends who help each other in situations. Little did they know it could lead love. There are some bumps but they do get their HEA.
Could not put this book down!!! Such a good way to see how to use love to help with body acceptance.
Such a good story. I liked how it built up and had great chemistry between the H and h. Very descriptive and sweet ending.
Realistic characters and a very easy read. Enjoyed this book.looking forward to reading the next series and more by this author.
Rhys Daniels. I can’t get enough of the charismatic sweetheart T^T. The insecurities Vanny goes through really hit home with me, and I feel stronger and more empowered to see her finally feel whole and love all parts of herself. I couldn’t stop myself from binge reading “Talk Dirty To Me,” even if I tried. This is one for my favorites shelf!!
Generally this was a fun book to read. I enjoyed the characters and the entanglements. However The initial time line of Rhys being into her Was not dealt with well Or thoroughly so the reader understood what was the initial attraction was for the whole story to make sense. The reunion scene also needs work to be more satisfying.
