From USA Today Bestselling Author, P.D. Workman!

Danger lurks in the water!

With the Magical Spring Games approaching, Damon hires Reg to help him to track down a missing contestant deep in the Everglades. If Reg thought this was going to be a walk in the (national) park, she’s got another thing coming.

Covering 1.5 million acres and home to both magical and non-magical predators, including those of the two-legged variety, Reg isn’t sure she is up to the challenge. Could anyone be?

Reg had better hold onto that airboat, it’s going to be a wild ride.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ P.D. Workman's witchy writing carries you through a world that can make you stop and wander. Could something like this really happen? Could it be possible? You sure wish it could be. Even the smile you have at the end says this might just be the beginning of a magical new life.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This book has all my favourite things: heart, great writing, nearly-flawless editing, something unusual in the air, and a cat.

Like paranormal mysteries? Psychics, witches, fairies, and more! Award-winning and USA Today Bestselling Author P.D. Workman waves her wand to transport readers to the myth- and magic-filled small town of Black Sands for another paranormal cozy mystery to be solved by Reg Rawlins and her friends.

A self-professed con artist practicing as a contact to the dead, a drop-dead gorgeous warlock, and a psychic cat—what could go wrong?

Fall under Reg’s spell today.

An interesting adventure for Reg and the guys.

When Reg heads into the Everglades with Damon and Colvin, what could possibly go wrong! This is another fun and interesting book in this series. A lot of interesting characters are met along the way. I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this book and chose to leave this review.

Skunk Man Swamp - a review by Rosemary Kenny

Damon wants Reg to help him find a missing amnesiac Wizard, called Jeffrey Wilson, to take part in the Spring Games. He was last heard of in the Everglades, in an area Reg has determined by using her crystal ball...which is where the Skunk Man, (think of a smelly yeti) Etienne, lives.
The pair, plus Reg's acquaintance, Corvin, set off to comb the various areas of the swamp where Wilson was last spotted.
Who unexpectedly gives them a strong clue?
Why does he deny he's been missing half a century and insists he's not magical at all?
Can they persuade Wilson to return with them?

Mayhem and magic clash, when the truth about Wilson's true background is revealed and mild chaos, that gives you a frisson of fear tingling along your spine, ensues.
PD Workman certainly has a mystical sense of mischief in Skunk Man Swamp, that will give you alternate merriment and misery as Reg and Starlight (her feline familiar), plus Damon learn the near-miss consequences of their well-intentioned ignorance.
Luckily, all's (wryly) well that ends well, (as in nobody dies) and there's even leftover chocolate cake to finish on a sugar rush high with!

Many different creatures in the Everglades

I have read many books by P. D. Workman, but apparently not in this genre. Reg is persuaded to go into the Everglades to help locate a missing wizard. They run into many problems and aren’t sure they will be able to collect the money offered to get him back to participate in the Spring Games. Ms. Workman did a good job of writing this book, but I am not into fantasy.
I received an ARC of this book and this is my honest opinion.

Another adventure for Reg...

The life of Reg Rawlins, psychic investigator, is certainly never dull. In this book she is implored by her friend, Damon, to help him find a wizard who is believed to be lost in the Florida everglades. Damon is willing to split the reward with Reg that has been offered to recover the wizard and convince him to compete in the upcoming Spring Games, a much anticipated annual magical competition. What follows is an everglades adventure replete with mishaps, misunderstandings, magical beings, and mythological creatures. This story serves as an excellent illustration of the idiom “be careful what you wish for”. Can Reg and her cohorts find the missing wizard in time for the Spring Games? Will he agree to return with them and compete? Will finding the wizard have unforeseen consequences? You’ll have to read the book to find out. I enjoy going along with Reg and her friends on their adventures – you never know what to expect. I’m already looking forward to the next one.

I was provided with an advance copy of this book but my review is voluntary and reflects my honest and unbiased opinion.
