I didn't realize that this book would end this way. I usually opt out of buying novels that are cliffhangers. I can't think about not purchasing the next book to figure out who is Penina's father and how that will impact her relationship with Jake/Asher.
On to the next book. I really did enjoy this book and the complexity/intensity of their relationship. I love books with flawed characters who still manage to have a worthwhile life. This is my first book in this series but won't be my last.

Asher Christmas appears to be a great surgeon and so very attractive. Funny how no matter how much money you have or how hard you try to hide someone will find you. OK with the cliffhanger at the end of this book I have to keep reading. Highly recommend reading.

Fantastic
This is the first book in this series I have read and it will not be the last. Jack and Pen are two driven, accomplished neurosurgeons who cross paths at the hospital Jack has bought under an assumed name. This story is refreshing as it is a fresh take on romance and mysterious and sometimes disturbing issues. Well worth your time.
Good read
He's hiding and keeping secrets, she is working hard and falling fast. Is this a good thing, or bad? Then she has to travel a bit, so she has some thinking space. What will she decide?

The excerpt that draws you to read a book and sometimes you read the reviews. This, so far, is very disappointing. I thought it would be 5 stars. NOT. I already purchased the next book, so will read.

Penina and Jake's relationship evolves with wild attraction, passion, denial, deception, trust issues, family drama and so many secrets! And whoa, what a cliffhanger ending!
Dr. Sparrow and Dr. Ross
I loved reading this story. He is pretty messed up to run from his family even though he had good reasons. But he became a top surgeon and even started to fall in love. And then it began to fall apart. Meanwhile, Dr. Ross has some dealings to do with her past. I didn’t want to put the book down and I’m starting the next one.
