Good Book
I have really enjoyed the 6 of these I’ve read. Love the characters and the mysteries are good. Really like the Raina and Matthew storyline.
A good story in this series
Raina works in a p.i. firm, and gets involved with a murder case. She deals with her fiance being away, her grandmother and Hallowe'en. She has several suspects and motives. I enjoy this series.
Not as good as the others
this one just fell flat. The whole relationship with Matthew seems off- there's nothing to it and he's a very flat one dimensional character. Raina is normally pretty good with her investigations but she made tons of mistakes here and seemed to be blaming others for everything. Her breaking phones got old a few books ago. Please don't go down the same path of a certain bounty hunter who is forever having her cars blow up-it's not cute or entertaining after so many books.
Will one blah book stop me from reading the rest of the series? nope, but I do hope the next one is much better.
