LONG LOST LENNY: A financial crime thriller murder mystery
by J Ash
Death - it’s no joke for a comedian
Lenny Lampton, long forgotten seventies comedian, is back and centre stage.
Despite hearing voices of his long dead wife, Lenny is doing well. Until his co-host dies at the after show party. The newspapers print pictures that suggest an overdose killed her.
Chief Superintendent Jim Smith calls his old media-savvy mate Caleb to consult. It doesn’t look like an overdose to Jim. Someone moved the co-host after she died and leaked pictures to the newspapers.
Jim suspects Lenny is up to no good. Caleb suspects it’s got something to do with Lenny’s agent and an unsigned contract.
Can Caleb help Jim uncover the truth before Jim makes it worse?
Set in London this financial thriller finds a high street accountant helping the police to solve a murder and untangle a web of conspiracy in the world of TV comedians and high rolling media deals.
