Gruff: A Fox Hollow Novel - MM Shifter Romance Suspense

I love the Fox Hollow universe so was happy to re-visit. It’s always fun to see the characters from previous stories interact with new characters.

Adiel and Joel are both goat shifters with emotional baggage from previous relationships. It makes them hesitant to trust or open up. As they get to know each other and get hints from their goats that they are fated mates the past comes back to throw a wrench into the works.

The relationship crisis moment bugged me (I hate the no communication thing…use your words people!) and you could see what was coming afterwards. I loved the way the resolution goes down though a troll would have been a nice parallel!

The ending is sweet and I look forward to seeing more of these characters in future Fox Hollow books.

I just can't get enough of Fox Hollow and the people who live there! Joel and Adiel are perfect additions to the town and their story was adorable. I love how Morgan Brice uses fated mates to explain the attraction and connection between characters, but she doesn't use fated mates to make every problem disapear. Joel and Adiel still had their baggage to work through. And this couple came closer to blowing it than any other so far. But don't worry, you are going to love the journey to their HEA.

Morgan Brice once again weaves a wonderful tale set in Fox Hollow. We have sexy Boer goat, fainting goat, evil goats, and old friends. I really wish this was a real place!

A wonderful addition to the Fox Hollow series. This is the first I've seen fainting goat shifters and I think I need more of these adorable creatures, all in all an enjoyable read.

Joel and adiel's love is worth everything to them. Finding their fated mate just to have him facing danger is the last thing they ever expected. Will love truly conquer al?

I like the interaction between different characters and the way that she introduces one of the main characters shifter is great! Some of the content is "racy", but if you have read this author before then you shouldn't be surprised. Overall a great read!

I'm so happy there's another story in the Fox Hollow universe! This time both characters are new to the area and find themselves working on a project in town together. Adiel and Joel have an instant chemistry and their inner goats swear they're fated mates. Their human sides may not be so sure, but they know there's something between them and decide to see where things go.

Most of the story is watching the men fall for each other and bond. I really loved that they were both goats and Joel's fainting can be pretty funny. The last quarter has some cool paranormal content and puts Adiel and Joel's relationship to the test. This was a quick read and easy to dive into. I can't wait for more books in the series!

I love the Fox Hollow world and this was a great addition. Featuring a fainting goat was very fun. While this could be read as a standalone, I think reading the previous books would be very helpful to better understand the world and characters. As with most novellas, I wish some elements had been expanded and delved deeper into them.
