Glass Clouds: Her Dangerous Stranger is a departure from Cass's usual style and Australian set books - this one taking place against the backdrop of a beautiful villa and lavendar fields in the Provence region of France. Her Dangerous Stranger is filled with lush descriptions and colorful local characters who are fleshed out with complex backstories and personal histories that add to the intricacies of the story. The book has a relaxed, introspective style that truly allows you to get to know and care about the characters. Just the right amount of steam makes for a romantic read with enough suspense and action to keep you on the edge of your seat. An added bonus is the delicious sounding French recipes at the end of many chapters.

Reviews
Charlize has lost her career as an Australian cop in a horrendous car crash leaving her to seek peace overseas, in France. While enjoying sitting out to enjoy her garden one night a wounded stranger climbs over the wall, pursued by someone who has obviously shot him. Who is he and should she call out? The decision she makes is life changing for both of them. This is a fast paced and exciting story with many twists and turns. Highly entertaining.
I love all of Suzanne's books , but this one I particularly enjoyed because it has an intriguing and suspenseful storyline that keeps the reader constantly on the edge of seat.
Charlize and Jean-Luc meet under unusual circumstances, when he, the undercover cop, escapes wounded into her garden in Provence. Charli, who is trying to put the pieces of her life together after tragedy struck, is sucked into a vortes of danger and organized human trafficking, which culminates in a life and death chase across the country. Somewhere along the way, these two are discovering their feelings for each other, healing along the way from their respective personal tragedies.
A riveting read, which s difficult to putt down, so I didn't even try and read the book in one go. Well fleshed-out characters, a clever storyline with surprising twists and a paranormal, touch, a wonderful depiction of the Provence with yummy recipes to boot, and a HEA make this book my new fav from Suzanne's. Absolutely recommended!
This was an excellent romantic suspense. You won't want to put it down. Charlize left Australia to escape her demons after a crash shattered her life as she knew it. Jean-Luc is hunting down a dangerous mobster. As he escapes from his pursuers, he lands in her garden. There is where their story begins. Join them on their wild adventure. Not only is it romantic and suspenseful, but also has a paranormal twist. Our heroine is a psychic. This was my first Suzanne Cass book, and I look forward to reading more of her books.
I loved reading this book. Susanne Cass made me feel like I was living the story not reading the book. I love authors who do that and their are not a lot of them out there.
I received an ARC and am giving an unbias opinion.
I just love Suzanne Cass' books. Great stories, great characters and in this one. great recipes. She writes about Provence, and you feel like you are there. The way she talks about the food you could taste it. As with all her books, I had a hard time put the book down to go to sleep.
